All products offered by ASGAG are excellently documented and based on international standards for test quality. The protection of the privacy of our customers and other website users is a high priority for us, which is why we subject ourselves to strict standards for the processing of all personal data. In the following, we explain for what purposes and according to what principles we collect and process personal data (information that determines your identity or makes it determinable for us) via this website and other applications operated by ASGAG (hereinafter referred to as “website”).

2. Collection & processing of personal data

The use of our website is basically possible without providing any personal data. However, if a data subject wishes to take advantage of special services via our website, it may be necessary to process personal data. If it is necessary to process personal data and there is no legal basis for such processing, we will obtain the consent of the data subject. We collect and process your personal data only for the purposes described in this data protection declaration and only to the extent necessary. We only store your known personal data to the extent and for as long as it is necessary to provide our services or we are obliged to do so by law.

We process the data only within the framework of the above-mentioned principles and always in accordance with Swiss data protection legislation and the EU Data Protection Regulation (“DSGVO”).

3. Purpose and categories of personal data

a.) Using the AssessmentGate platform

Our clients (or licensees) use the tools via AssessmentGate for their personnel recruitment and development. In the process, individual test results (“data”) that are worthy of protection are collected from the clients and their test subjects, in particular from their existing and future employees, and thus an analysis and, if necessary, a personality profile of the test subject is created in the context of the suitability prognosis and candidate comparison. The procurement of the data and, in particular, the purpose will be communicated to the test persons on AssessmentGate prior to the collection.

The customer of ASGAG opens a profile for the test person with the following personal data:

• Name, First name, E-Mail

The test person can voluntarily complete his profile with the following personal data:

• Year of birth, gender, address, country, nationality, level of education, telephone, answers and results of the tests

By concluding the contract ASGAG is granted the authority to process the data collected via ASGAG’s tools in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

ASGAG’s customers are made aware that the data can only be lawfully processed both by them and by ASGAG if the test persons are notified of the data collection (e.g. by using ASGAG’s ready-made letter of invitation) and the test persons have given their consent. The customers are obliged to comply with the Federal Data Protection Act (DSG), the DSGVO if applicable and, if AssessmentGate is used in an employment context, with Article 328b of the Swiss Code of Obligations. The customers shall have the data relating to the test persons evaluated exclusively by persons designated by ASGAG.

If you want to contact us via contact form, we collect the following personal data to answer your request:

Your personal data will only be used to process your request. As far as the nature of the request allows, you can contact us by phone without giving any personal data.

4. Publication, transfer of personal data

The data collected from the customer will under no circumstances be used for any other purpose than the one stated, in particular not for advertising purposes to third parties.

The data entered into AssessmentGate is stored on a data server of Metanet AG, Zurich and Aspectra AG, Zurich. Both companies are contractually obliged to process the stored data only within the scope of the hosting contract. Furthermore, they are prohibited from processing the stored data in any other way, in particular from passing on data to third parties.

We reserve the right at any time to statistically process (standard calculations) and disclose or otherwise use anonymized data without any personal reference. In this case ASGAG guarantees that the processed data no longer contain or enable any personal reference. ASGAG also reserves the right to make any disclosure obligations within the scope of any legal proceedings in court or with authorities.

5. Data security

We protect your personal data with appropriate security measures and on secure servers. The website is secured by appropriate technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction and manipulation as well as against access, modification or distribution by unauthorized persons.

As a matter of principle, we only work with partners who comply with the highest international data protection standards and who contractually commit themselves to ASGAG to treat personal data confidentially and not to pass it on. In addition to the legal framework, technical and organizational measures for the physical protection of data are of prime importance.

6. Your rights

By law, you are entitled to information, correction and deletion of your known personal data at any time. A revocation of consent prohibits further data processing with immediate effect.

You can obtain information about your data stored with us at any time and exercise your right to correct or delete your known data. For this purpose, please contact the contact person mentioned under point 1 above.

7. Update and changes

We may change or update this privacy policy without prior notice. Please check the privacy policy before you use our services in order to be up to date with any changes or updates. Changes are effective as of their publication on this website.
